Apache 2.0 question

This could be a very stupid question but is it possible for Apache to
be installed on a computer without the user's knowledge? If so, how and
why would be wonderful information as well. I could not find an answer
in the archives. Thanks

That would, above all, depend on the user. You might be surprised at the
amount of malware many users run quite obliviously.
