I upgraded a Fedora Core 2 machine to Fedora Core 3. Note to the
reader... if you really need to upgrade such an old OS, build a new box or move your servers to a temp box and install a new OS from scratch! Anyway... after the upgrade, I wound up with the Fedora Core 3 httpd-2.0.54-10.2 /server-status no longer works with my same httpd.conf file. All the error_log says is: [Sun Jul 02 09:20:12 2006] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] client denied by server configuration: /etc/httpd/htdocs Ohhhh...kaaaayyyy... :-) There is no reference to "htdocs" in httpd.conf or any of the files in /etc/httpd/conf.d/ There is no /etc/httpd/htdocs either. So, I'm kinda stumped! -- * John Oliver http://www.john-oliver.net/ * |

FC3 is EOL as well as FC2 - said this, there is fedoralegacy.org which you hopefully know already. > Anyway... after the upgrade, I wound up with the Fedora Core 3 > httpd-2.0.54-10.2 /server-status no longer works with my same > httpd.conf file. So, I'm kinda stumped! And the server-status feature is configured how with your current setup in /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf? You may have a httpd.conf(.rpmnew,.rpmsave) file.
