Hi, I'm running apache on linux and using standard setup with .htaccess
and ..htpasswd for password-protecting one of the virtual hosts. The ..htaccess is located in the document root of the virtual host. This works fine, but the problem is, I'd like to make some subdirectories underneath the document should be accessible to only one user other than the users who are authenticated at root level.. I would really appreciate if somebody could let me know how to make one of the subdirectories be password-protected again. Sunder. |

Look for mod_access documentation or Apache 1.3 FAQ (Apache 2 FAQ are not comprehensive enought). patpro -- http://www.patpro.net/ |
