I have an apache 1.3.27 running on Solaris 7.
ErrorLog is set to go to /opt/apache/logs/error_log and CustomLog is set to go to /dev/null Still apache is logging lots of the following messages to /var/adm/messages APACHE[<PID>]: [1] mngFormInfo: ERROR, expecting to find data-encoded How can I tell apache not to write to /var/adm/messages? Cheers Stef |

Apparently it isn't Apache. I just did a search through Apache source code, and it doesn't contain the message you're seeing. Look at whatever custom programs you're running through Apache - it's one of them doing the logging. -- Wolf a.k.a.
