Hello Everybody,

I am trying to install Apache 1.3, Mod_perl 1 and Php 4.3.10.

I found out how to do it from http://modperlbook.org/html/ch03_06.html
This document describes how to do it. The problem is that when I get to
'make' the Php after
'./co./configure --with-apache=../apache_1.3.xx \
--with-mysql --enable-track-vars'

my system shows the following error.

gcc: sapi/cli/php_cli.o: No such file or directory
gcc: sapi/cli/getopt.o: No such file or directory
make: *** [sapi/cli/php] Error 1

What should I do?

Hello all,

I solved the last problem - I did a lot of building before
and I did not use the 'make clean' command.
After I did that, everything went smooth.
I got this line in the error log

[Thu Mar 10 13:04:55 2005] [notice] Apache/1.3.33 (Unix) PHP/4.3.10
mod_perl/1.29 configured -- resuming normal operations
