Hello.
I see there is a W3C CSS2 specification for font-stretch property. I also see that no browser supports it. Why is that? And is there a work around for this? I don't want to use an image for such a job if it's possible. Thanks |

Try e.g. to select a condensed font using the font-family property. -- Johannes Koch In te domine speravi; non confundar in aeternum. (Te Deum, 4th cent.) |

We might also ask the people who wrote the CSS 2.0 specification. The font-stretch property would be fairly useless even if implemented. And we haven't got decent implementations of font-style, font-variant, or font-weight in popular browsers, so why did they bother adding font-stretch in CSS 2.0 (just to be taken out in CSS 2.1)? -- Jukka K.
