Is there a method for paying for support from Adobe, wherein a guy would
remote connect to my PC and try to find out why CS3 crashes? Or is the answer to all crashes, "reinstall Windows and try again?". Eventually CS3 Bridge crashes on all my machines if I have too many files and try to do too much at once but now my main machine refuses to even start Bridge, even after a uninstall and reinstall (see previous message). Thanks for any suggestions. |

I cannot answer your question regarding paying for connnection support. I'd suggest the easy things first. Zap your Photoshop preferences. (While Photoshop is starting, hold down Alt-Ctrl-Shift and answer Yes to the dialog) If you get Bridge working again, waste the cache and set the preferences to ignore particularly large files. Finally, how much RAM do you have? And is it all ok? |

I found that when I uninstalled CS3 some garbage was left behind. I had to download a program from Adobe to completely clean the previous install from my machine before I reinstalled CS3. |

Bridge also needs an update to work correctly in addition to the other suggestions I had some issues with CS3 not installing some updates but it had an option to skip and continue, so I did so far it seems ok yes make sure to use the cleaning file for CS3 before re-installs or it won't re-install or repair and don't re-install windows if it isn't broken what a waste of time cs 3 takes long enough to re-install as it is |
