If you want to learn to work with SQL Server, you best start by reading some books and installing the developer edition ($50, if I'm not mistaken) so that you can try stuff. If you have already some basic SQL and relational database knowledge, then the complete "Inside SQL Server 2005" series would be a good starting point (four books total - start with the two by Itzik Ben-Gan, then go on with the two by Kalen Delaney if you want to learn EVERYTHING). If you are completely new to SQL, start with some basic books on relational databases. It's been too long since I read any of those, so no title suggestions here. -- Hugo Kornelis, SQL Server MVP My SQL Server blog: http://sqlblog.com/blogs/hugo_kornelis |

Please clarify your question. There are many web sites that have basic sql
server tutorials. Also, microsoft has many free virtual learning classes that can be downloaded. These are excellent tutorials -- Sincerely, John K Knowledgy Consulting, LLC knowledgy.org Atlanta's Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse Experts <pnwramt80@gmail.com> wrote in message news:04f89e8c-72b1-41e4-9c9b-0bb8da2adee4@j20g2000hsi.googlegroups.com... > i want raed and write a sql server |
