For experimental / learning purposes, I want to install MySQL on a
Windows XP computer that already has SQLServer installed and running on it. Will this combination work ok? Do these two play well together? Thanks for any advice. |

Do these two play well together? It should work just fine. Ideally, they'll not play together at all and will simply ignore each another. -- 56. Here, we are concerned with MySQL. MySQL runs as well on Windows as it does on *BSD.
