Hi,
Is it possible when creating a table to have the auto incremenet field start at, for example, 1000 instead of 1. I would like to have a table called orders and want to use this number as an invoice code. Cheers Burnsy |

Take (most of) the subject of your post: Auto incremenet primary key field starting at Type them into the search box at www.google.com Then click the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button Then read the article. Even though you spelling of "increment" is hopelessly incorrect, it still takes you straight to the correct page of the manual! |

I wasn't criticising your spelling. I was pointing out that even with the mis-spelled word, simply putting the subject line INCLUDING THE MIS-SPELLED WORD into google, still went straight to the correct page of the manual, by pressing the I'm Feeling Lucky button. So before sticking your fucking tongue out at me, try examining why you are so lazy that you couldn't be bothered to try to find the answer to your own question first. Then consider how much more you're likely to get here! |
