My OS partition has become full and I want to move my MYSQL database folder from C drive (OS partition) to another drive on the same computer. How to do this?? Thanks. |

What I did was (a) stop MySQL (b) copy the data where I wanted it (c) edit my.ini (d) restart MySQL and make sure it works (e) delete old data files (perhaps just renaming the directory might be better). -- Jeff Gaines Damerham Hampshire UK It may be that your sole purpose in life is to serve as a warning to others. |
