I am new at mysql under Linux
I am using CentOS 5,
Mysql from source code installed perfectly
statred fine
BUT I AM NOT ABLE TO GOT SHELL PROMPT AT LINUX FOR MYSQL.
ME PLEASE THAT TO WORK MYSQL AT LINUX

The same way you get it in any other OS. Type mysql <enter> at a
command line prompt.

Of course, you need to ensure your path is set up properly.
