Hi all,

i was able to start the 1.1.2 agent on OSX 10.4.
I had to use servername in mysql-service-agent.ini not '127.0.0.1' or
'localhost'

Tried to monitor agent on a remote serve on a different network with no
avail.

Question:

Can monitoring make an autodetection on a different subnet?

How to tell the agent where it's monitoring is?

I think all i have to do is to set correct IP-adresse or full qualified
domainname in

mysql-service-agent.ini:

[merlind]

hostname = http://agent:<password>@<IP or FQDN>:18080/merlin/heartbeat

i set debug-level=debug and found out that service is using
curl and curls is using proxy and proxy does not know how to handle
http upload from agent.

How do i tell agent not to use proxy?

Tried with export noproxy=<hostname> and restart of agent
with no avail

Any clues?

i did a export http_proxy= in mysql-service-agent startup file.

now its working
