Hey all,
Ok, so i'm brand new to the windows 2008 server, and right off the hop i'm having some issues.. I can't seem to find were to install my Server CALs ? .. I've already installed my Terminal Server CALs but I cannot seem to find the license server for the server itself.. I believe this is also why my newly created user can not log into the server... so far only my administrator can... |

Hello AndreZ,
You can not install them, like in the other versions from Windows, you just have to have them. Or did you talk about the 2008 server itself? If the user can not login, please post the exact error message he get's. I assume the user account is not allowed to logon locally, this is a security setting, belonging to servers. Thanks for the reply, I did figure out the problem, when I made my server a
DC it change the GPO to not allow local logins, I had to edit it to allow the RDU and DU groups to log in.
