I just did a complete uninstall, reinstall, and ran Adobe the updates, and
Bridge continues to crash when I try to launch it. Below is the Microsoft error. Any ideas? CS2 is still running fine but I use CS3 for the advanced filters when doing metadata chores. AppName: bridge.exe AppVer: 2.1.1.9 ModName: bridge.exe ModVer: 2.1.1.9 Offset: 00354647 |

Adobe customer service sent me to KnowlegeBase file http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/view...nalId=kb401517 (I believe there's a similar note for the PC.) Their conclusion: "This error is caused by the Version Cue Client utility failing to update correctly. "Delete the 3.1.0 folder located in Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Version Cue CS3/Client and then reinstall the 3.1.0 update for the Version Cue Client to correct this error. "You can download the update to manually install it from the following location: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloa...jsp?ftpID=3639 Tom Nelson |
