I'm creating a drop down menu for a website and it's mostly done through
mouse_over and mouse_out events, and gotoAndStop functions. http://www.cyan-studios.net/hpe2/index.shtml If you hover over the "About Us" button and go up and down across "Clients" and "Locations", you'll notice that those two buttons start to flicker. But on no frame in the timeline in this movie clip are these buttons missing. They are always there, so why is it flickering these things? Is it a rendering or redraw issue? Does anyone know of a fix? Thank you for your time. |

If you move your mouse across them both really fast you should see it. My work computer is a beast, but maybe yours has more meat. Just weird.

Well I got it, but it's rather shoddy how I fixed it. I created a layer
underneath all of them and pasted two instances of those two mc's beneath. In this way, when this flickering happens, there are identical buttons below to create the illusion of one stable button. |
