When Trying to export a flash graphic out of Flash CS3 to .PNG format, Flash
will either export a severely distorted image or it will just crash and shutdown. Admittedly, the graphic is pushing the max limits of allowable export (7900x7900px @ 300dpi). I've never had problems exporting to .PNG before, as I use that feature every day, but rarely at this scale. Could the size be affecting it's ability to export correctly? If not, what could be the issue? |

It IS the size! When I read your post I tried exporting a really simple image
at 8,000 by 8,000 to BMP, JPG and PNG. It came out six different ways in size different saves. There's a threshold where it comes out properly, but I don't know where that is, it was happy with 1,000 by 1,000 for all the formats. So my copy of CS3 does the same thing as yours. I wonder if you'd have to alter the document size then slide the content around and make multiple passes for really high detail image saves? |

Well at least it's not just me. I'm trying several variations to make this
work, but it's kind of a PITA. I have to slightly rework the piece to make it work out. Hopefully Adobe could check this out. Is there a way to make an official report to Adobe about stuff like this? |
