I am new to the forum and I am thinking about getting a new lap top with Windows Vista. And I really like Photoshop 7.0, that is the only photoshop that I have worked with in the pass and I was thinking about buying photoshop 7.0, CS, or CS2. My questions is do you think that this programs (being the older versions) run on Windows Vista?????

Only CS2 or CS3 is available for legitimate sale, you would be hard-pressed to find a CS2 kicking around even at that.

Only CS3 is guaranteed to work under Vista, although I run CS2 under Vista 64-bit without a problem.

And please do not come back and ask for comments on the legitimacy of E-bay or other such sales.

If you're a student then by all means buy CS3 using your academic
eligibility. It's a steal.

I can get CS3 from my school for about $300. At some schools you get a super special discount and can get it for about $178!!!!!!

i've never heard of a "super special discount" and i'd be a bit leary of someplace offering it.
