Par défaut Turn objects into layers?

Hi, I amusing Fireworks 8. I made several vector and bitmap objects under a
single layer. I now realize that the "export layer as files" options would
require me to have the objects in different layers. I have made so many objects
in this layer that it would take a lot of time to create and rename a layer for
each and every object.

If such a feature does not exist to turn objects into layers in large numbers,
then can somebody tell me where I can find such an extension?

I would also like some flexibility in the batch naming of the new layers (e.g.
the object name followed by a dash followed by the X-coordinate of the object
followed by a dash folled by the Y-coordinate).

Been a while since I've used FW 8 but check and see if you have a
command set called "document" in the Commands menu. If you do, one of
the commands is called "Distribute to Layers."

This will move each item to a layer, but there is no batch renaming
option. You're on your own this time , but next time you will know to
create the layers and name them as you create your design.

Thanks for the quick reply.Yes, such an option does exist but it would still
not save me much time.

Are there any solutions for my problem in the newest Fireworks version?

Is there any batch-layer renaming command or extension for any Fireworks
version which can use the objects x and y coordinates in the naming of the
layer?
