Well that is a good business strategy in that it maximizes profits...and is how a lot of software companies operate, for better or worse. But that's not the strategy we've been talking about. We've merely stated that it's perfecly fine and good business (for both you and the client) to charge, in addition to your time, any ADDED VALUE your product or service provides the client. The client really doesn't care how long it takes you to do something in an hour-by-hour basis. They just want to know when the project will be done, how much it will cost, and what value it gives them. -Darrel |
