I have a virtual server that keeps making out the cpu in the virtual, but the
host computer only hits 50%. I checked the settings and the server is setup to use up to 100%. This is a P4 with HT. Is there something that I am missing? THANKS!!! |

No, you only get 100% of 1 CPU, since you've got an HT CPU, you get 50% of the system, which is 100% of one HT CPU. -- Cheers, Steve Jain, Virtual Machine MVP http://vpc.essjae.com/ I do not work for Microsoft. |

If you want to use all your system resources, the only way you could do it is to run 2 VMs. -- Cheers, Steve Jain, Virtual Machine MVP http://vpc.essjae.com/ I do not work for Microsoft. |
