[Follow-up to comp.protocols.tcp-ip.domains]

Hello,

Does anyone know what is happening to the 6to4 reverse DNS delegation
service <https://6to4.nro.net> ? All the DNS servers that are supposed
to be authoritative for the 6to4.nro.net and 2.0.0.2.ip6.arpa zones
reply with SERVFAIL or REFUSED to queries regarding these zones. Mail to
the contact address 6to4@apnic.net bounces with a "User unknown" error.

Never mind, it seems to be working again.

"Working" is a relative term.

What I see is:
- 2 servers working
- 1 server SERVFAIL (several months)
- 1 server REFUSED (during October)
So 50% of queries have to be retried, and 17% retried twice.

I sent them e-mail about the broken server a while back. It was ignored.

Well, same as usual, at least since I've been using the service.

Who did you try to contact ? I'm interested in knowing who is in charge
for this issue.

I used the generic mailbox <6to4@apnic.net> listed on
https://6to4.nro.net/6to4_reverse/non_2002/index.html
