I am using the MySQL Query Browser v 1.2.12 and I cannot seem to be
able to save connections. I created a connection with the host, user, and password data. I also provided a connection name. I performed some work with the database and then exited the browser. When I restart the browser the stored connection dropdown list is empty. If I open the connection button next to the dropdown list I get the connections dialog for managing connections. This shows the history of the connections I have used and also allows me to create a new connection. Unfortunately I cannot select a connection from the history list to open a connection. It seems that I must enter the host and user information manually to open the connection. so... my question is how can I create a connection and be able to select it from the dropdown list. thanks for your john |

Ah, never mind. I found that I cannot save connections from the
initial connect dialog. I must create them from the options menu. I guess I should have rtfm!!!!! |
