In a multiple master NT 4 domain, is there any way to make a single domain
administrator account work as a domain administrator in all other domains? We want to run an audit program that runs as a service on a member server of Domain A and the service logon credentials are that of a domain administrator in Domain A. There is a two-way trust with Domain B (and C and D and E etc.) "DomainA\Domain Admins" is a member of the Administrators group in DOMAIN B (and C and D and E etc.) already, but it's not working as desired. The audit program is trying to use WMI and it's jus not working on the other domains. Thanks, Ray |

The only thing that comes to mind is duplicate passwords.

Thanks. That's not going to work because that password is changed way too
often. Oh, well. Well there is the "connect as" feature which may not be
what you need. "Ray" <no@repliesplease.com> wrote in message news: > Thanks. That's not going to work because that password is changed way too > often. Oh, well. |

No, it has to be an account that runs the service. <sigh>
