Hello!
I found the erorr in handling of a mix formatted mailboxes when deleteing mail message from any .mix folder. After deleting a message i can't access Trash folder. The error when i try to open Trash folder is: "Error in mix status siquence record i=####, seq=#####". I access my email using imap by Thunderbird 1.5.0.7 and the server is imap-2006c. I found that a .mixstatus file is copied from folder where i deleted message into Trash folder. Thank you for any feeds! -- WBR, LF |

Unfortunately, by obscuring the data in the message, you made it almost impossible to diagnose the problem. When making a problem report, always report the *exact* text of error messages, including any numbers or other data in the message. > I found that a .mixstatus file is copied from folder where i deleted > message into Trash folder. If your Trash mailbox is in mix format, then it has its own .mixstatus file by definition. .mixstatus files are not "copied", at least not by any normal procedure. Even if a false .mixstatus file had been "copied", that would not cause that error on open. Something else happened, but without the exact text of the message I do not know what happened. -- Mark -- http://staff.washington.edu/mrc Science does not emerge from voting, party politics, or public debate. Please try imap-2006c1 and see if it fixes this issue.
I discovered a problem in copy that may be to blame. -- Mark -- http://staff.washington.edu/mrc Science does not emerge from voting, party politics, or public debate. Si vis pacem, para bellum. |
