bcrypt - how to input the key on the command line

I need to bcrypt some files in batch mode on a Solaris server. Is there a
way I can feed in the Encryption key on the command line. (I did not see a
flag from the man page).

I'd think most likely that's a design decision. Do you really want
other UIDs on the system to be able to see the encryption key by
mere use of ps?
