Could you please post a sample URL that doesn’t have description tags?
We randomly checked and they all seem there.

35K has been allocated over a 2 year period so far only $3,000 has been
spent. All financial and ranking information is posted on our report
site. You need to sign up to see it but if you have any specific
questions please post them and I will try to answer them for you. This
experiment is trying to emulate what it would be like for a site with no
start up budget to compete with the big brands. We are going for
organic traffic and plan to pour profits into ppc – so far we have made
$22 wich should buy us about an hour of ppc . Our first challenge is
to get the site spidered and to get links and that is not an easy thing
to do on a unknown brand that sells inventory via an affiliate
agreement. Once we have enough links and a reasonable page rank we
will look at improving the ranking – perhaps get into the nitty gritty
of meta tags.

On the page I saw before, it was actulally missing. With one quick
look at your home page I can see that your description and keyword tags
are inversed. With your main description looking like a list of
keywords, do you actually expect someone to click on that listing?

You should find someone to do your SEM correctly if you want your
"experiment" to work out (especially if you are paying $35k). I could,
but I only work for high-end clients and friends that have respectable
web sites. One of my clients already has travel keywords locked and I
won't compete with his listings.

What? Are you suggesting that Google is displaying the keywords
instead of the description in the snippet because they're placed
before the description in the document structure?

which is what you're doing here, right? Stretching yourself?

But you can take time out to come here and tell us all about it...

That must be the www. thetrustedtraveler.com/ which like the other 2
sites he has listed on his site that contains [not serious] validation
errors.

And how lame it is to link back to his site from their homepages.

Stand by for a barrage of abuse in your email now. I've had mine for
the day.

Never got any. And it doesn't bother me. I can either block his emails
so I won't see them, or play along with him for a while till I get
bored of him.

Still, nice to know he is busy getting IBLs for the PR1 PR2 and the
PR3 site he has done for his customers. I wonder if they know he is
sucking their most needed PR.

Good job he didn't mention he was ethical <G>

Yep, ya get them.:-) He just isn't very professional and I guess his
confidence isn't all that great as he has to do that. Also when you get the
insults he reverts to also stating your website looks like shit, etc. Of
course he might not think of to many names for ya, as women have more to
call them.:-)
