I guess goog isn't getting that many click throughs.
So they have to jam Yahoo and get more traffic to google. The temporary jams will produce millions of diverted traffic even though temporary they will have gotten an increase in click throughs. Jam on boyz. If thats what it takes. |

Do you have any evidence, even anecdotal, of this happening? Or a
technical explanation of how Google could be doing this? Are you just sometimes unable to access Yahoo, and leaping to the conclusion that this is Google's fault? |

What was the name of a programming contest that Google is organising annually? One of them is starting soon. I think it's called Google Code Jam or something like that... can't recall. I could google it, but I might get suit for fowl language and trademark violation. Jamming Yahoo? *LOL* I think the OP is just paranoid. The tubes have enough capacity for all of us... at least until that senator jams them. |

Not al all. It is okay for Joe Public to say "google it" but not for journalists etc. >Jamming Yahoo? *LOL* I think the OP is just paranoid. He'll be saying that google has ruined his myspace page next. <G> plh Paul ----== Posted via Newsfeeds.Com - Unlimited-Unrestricted-Secure Usenet News==---- http://www.newsfeeds.com The #1 Newsgroup Service in the World! 120,000+ Newsgroups ----= East and West-Coast Server Farms - Total Privacy via Encryption =---- |

Just spend 5 minutes observing all that s**t that teenagers stuff in there (even images are just references). I wish HTML was tougher to produce. Raises the entry barrier... *evil grin* |
