hi,
I have set up a mail server but i couldnt send mail using the mail() php function. the error i get is <mail kernel: audit(1145342841.312:0): avc: denied { read } for pid=5703 exe=/usr/sbin/httpd name=sh dev=hda7 ino=162249 scontext=root:system_r:httpd_t tcontext=system_u bject_r:bin_ttclass=lnk_file> What is the problem can any one its urgent have to submit the project after two days. I am using postfix and cyrus imap . Thanks in anticipation of justin |

I'm not a web developer / PHP programmer, but it looks to me like the failure message has something to do with HTTPD program not being able to execute "sh"; perhaps in a chroot'ed environment? Regardless, you posted this question to the Postfix newsgroups, and it looks like this problem hasn't made is as far as the Postfix MTA yet. Perhaps a clue on: http://www.php.net Good luck. -- Greg |
