Problem is that exchange 2003 does not send initial smtp greeting
'220 I am stupid windows smtp server' message. It requires enter <cr> first feeded to server before it replies. Problem might be also caused by zywall 5? but, I need to deliver mails from postfix to that exchanger, how I can do deliver mails to this commercial crap? (without using smarthost) I need that postfix first feeds<cr> after smtp connection is initialized to that mailhost before it replies correctly. This only happends in one domain. Windows Server is not on my responsibility. -- Eero |

Hmmm. I've had no problem. Exchange actually complies reasonably well
the SMTP. In my case I've specified the exchange server as a transport relay and it works o.k. Maybe something else is screwed up? (Sorry can't give you a quick fix - maybe someone else?) Greg |
