I have a IMAP client running against GRoupWise server.
My FETCH command comes back with * yyy FETCH () A1399 NO FETCH (7205) What makes FETCH fail? Does this mean server is busy? Does retry ? Please throw some light on this. Regards, Ramesh |

Something that the server does not like. Unfortunately, all of our psychics are out to lunch, and nobody in the office knows how to operate the magical mind ray-beam machine, in order to extract the actual, full, complete command out of your head. > Does this mean server is busy? No. > Does retry ? No. > Please throw some light on this. Either you are sending an invalid IMAP command, or the server has a bug and is rejecting a valid IMAP command. Which one is the case is impossible to determine until our psychics come back from the lunch break, and extract the actual, full, IMAP command out of your head. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.2.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQBEa6ONx9p3GYHlUOIRAol6AJ4qklqWTGhda6GKjPuF9l RC+4QD+gCfUE1H OcJTPxdaU0pa13n49aWWv6k= =tNoX -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- |

Thanks for your response.
The actual commands being exchanged are C: A123 FETCH 347 (BODY.PEEK[]) S: * 347 FETCH () S: A123 NO FETCH (7202) We get this error consistently for only few messages; we are successful in fetching 1000s of messages using same command.
