Website name same as internal domain

If I had an AD domian of domain.com and a website www.domain.com not hosted
internally, how would I re-direct internal requests to the website out to the
internet. When you type www.domain.com in the browser the page will not load.
All other web requests work fine. Is there a conflict in names?

create an A-Record in your Forward Lookup Zone with the name "www" and
with the official IP-Address your Website (example 62.145.21.123).
