006 DNS Servers disappears

This is a Windows 2003 R2 SP1 server.

Why would this happen?

No particular reason I can think of, it would be a bug if it can be
re-producible with MS PSS and needs to be patched.

You mean it gets unchecked and disappears from the Options list? If you go
into Configure Options, and you check 006, are your previous settings (IP
addresses) in there? Is there a Server Option 006 with similar settings as
well? Anything in the Event logs? How about DHCP logs?
