i have a w2k3 server and going to migrate everything from this old server to
a new server. the new server will be running on w2k3 . 1)is there anyway to copy or migrate every single things from this old server to the new server? 2)how to do DNS backup on w2k3 3)how to do IIS backup on w2k3 all i need is steps by steps.. thanks in advance... -nicky- |

Simple/quick. You an export the files and move them but that is a definite hack. > 3)how to do IIS backup on w2k3 You might do better asking this on the IIS lists. Win2003 does store the IIS config (the METABASE) in an XML file now so in theory migration is easier than in the past, but my experiences have largely been with migrating across different OS versions and that has never been totally satifying. > all i need is steps by steps.. > thanks in advance... > -nicky- |
