I am going through the Universal Plug and Play Device Architecture
document. In this document, a managed IP network is defined as one for which a DHCP server is available. If no DHCP server is available, the network is considered unmanaged. Is this a well understood and agreed upon definition of managed IP networks, or is this just the UPnP Forum's spin on manageability? Thanks, Gus |
