Duplicate Rows appearing.

I have customer Data Bases that a SELECT * FROM tablename will display
duplicaite rows. If I run RebuildIndexes the duplicate rows will not display.
The problem will occur again on a regular basis across the next couple of
weeks.

What version/edition of SQL Server? What tool are you using
to execute the Select * from tablename?
