never had this problem before but i can access the site via my ip and
127.0.0.1 and localhost on the server machine and via any pc on ym network but i cant access it via anouther pc on the internet and ideas firewalls disabled? |

It's quite possible that McAffee is blocking it. You want to access a folder? As in a shared folder within a windows
network? If this is what you have, you cannot simply access a folder just because it is shared from an external pc. The easiest thing to do in this situation is to set up a small FTP server program on the machine; then you simply logon to the FTP location, and voila- access to your folder. I recommend LiteServe or BulletFTP - im fairly certain that the first is free, and the latter is shareware. |
