If so, why so tiny? -- Blinky Killing all posts from Google Groups The Usenet Improvement Project: http://improve-usenet.org Blinky: http://blinkynet.net |

If so, why so tiny? I checked your code, and I see that it's intentional, as is the use of pixel specifications in general for your font sizes. -- Blinky Killing all posts from Google Groups The Usenet Improvement Project: http://improve-usenet.org Blinky: http://blinkynet.net |

Yet the text in that "musing" is set at 80% of my preferred font size. This page is only "usable" to me if I increase *my user font size* to put the effective size back to 100%. Why is this? > Disclaimer: I haven't done a once-over to check for validation and such > yet, Why? Using firefox with the relevant addins it takes one key stroke. > so I won't be surprised if there are some validation errors. They will > eventually be dealt with... Apart from a missing character encoding it validates. -- Richard. |

The applications page appears to be empty? Your grammar should be adjusted. You have incorrectly used a colon where a commar or semi-colon is more appropriate: "I have long been an advocate of usability on the web: basing design on what is easiest for the user." By the way, you have a slight issue when viewing the site with a character-based browser. You'll see what I mean if you check it. Revamp the whole thing and try again |

The software is not the problem, the template is. It's not that hard to make a blog template that is *not* fixed width, it just takes a little time. -- Berg |
