I've been doing a lot of research lately. Looking at color schemes and
design elements of sites and how they are marked up. So far I've come across mainly triad sites keyed on red and monochromatic blue. It's startling how simple and similar many of these sites are. Who would like to share a list of sites they like? I don't surf much beyond my short list so I'm sure I'm missing a lot. I think what I'll do is record the key colors of each site, what color scheme that matches. How it is laid out and probably how it deals with different resolutions. What the footer links are. And what key functions it serves. This seems like basic research to me. It seems likely that this has been done before, if anyone knows of a site that has this let me know. And as always, which no one ever takes me up on, I'll post results if desired. Jeff |
