Not the same old "Get Rich Quick" or "Be an Affiliate", but 20 or 30 "How To"
books on home improvement projects. My husband is a pretty good writer with a million ideas and I know a little HTML, but not enough to build our own site from scratch. Maybe a hosted service that takes payment and delivers the E-Book or a do it your self template? I've played with Joombla and OS Cart, but honestly don't have a clue how to instantly make the book available to them. Should it appear on the web site with a one-time link they can click? Should it be E-mailed to the customer? Any ideas are welcome! Darla |

There is no need to know HTML. What I recommend is to start a blog (get your own domain, don't go with a blog service), let your husband regularly write good tips on home improvement. If there are enough entries in your blog, make also the e-book with those tips (maybe extended, and some extra) available as e-book. The most important thing is to get buyers. If you get a lot of traffic to your site, and they like what they read, they might certainly be interested in an e-book. Or maybe even in a hardcopy (Cafepress, etc.). -- John Bokma http://johnbokma.com/ |
