In fact, he's quite a nice guy. And he was thanking you for not posting a bunch of urls. And no, I'm not being nasty. I could be, if I wanted to. I just made an observation about how you seem to take everything as a personal attack on you. I'd suggest you either get over it or get a job flipping burgers at McDonalds. You'll never make it as an independent with that think skin. As for your questions - frankly, I don't give a damn - at least not any more. >>> >>>>> Really, I'm just asking a question. Actually, I think it's the users who do the flagging. http://www.craigslist.org/about/...ity_moderation "If a post receives enough negative flags it will automatically be removed (only one flag per person per post is counted)." So there is no human intervention, and I've heard of there being some malicious flagging going on between Craigslist users http://www.indybay.org/newsitems/200...4/18294498.php "Members of the agency were concerned about community forums like Craigslist which are read by millions of people. Our job at Tomkins and Scott, my job specifically, was to monitor Craigslist and summarily flag all postings which reflected negatively upon the city in any way. I am going public with this because, after 3 years of being a censor for Craigslist, I believe what we are doing is totally wrong. " Here is just one forum of many on Craigslist where people solicit each other to flag posts so that they will be removed: http://forums.craigslist.org/?forumID=5194 There are many people on Craigslist who do nothing but "flag" aka spamcop and a lot of these people make Viper look like a creampuff. -- Red |
