Hello, I am searching for a database that I can write a PHP
application against. I am not looking for bulky packages, or anything fancy or maps, ... just some raw SQL data I can mix & match from tables, ... stuff like Zip codes, Latitude and Longitude, and any other basic address & coordinate info. I can cross reference and tie into..... anything that can me. Any ideas? Thank you in advance for . Best wishes, Sara |

If not then MySQL seems to be something of a standard, I have managed to install and use it. I am also having some success writing to an Access data-base. -- Jeff Gaines Damerham Hampshire UK I can please only one person per day. Today is not your day. Tomorrow, isn't looking good either. |

ZIP codes do change over time, sometimes new ones are created, so you may need to update your information, at least on an annual basis. Someone had suggested free services were available, but if you purchase the information from USPS, you have a reliable place to get the updates from also. Sometimes the free sites disappear and may become unreliable. Tom -- Newsguy.com - Unlimited Accounts Now with 32 concurrent connections |
