Par défaut SEO tool to objectively looks at how much traffic other sites get.

Here is a SEO tool that objectively looks at how much traffic is on
other people sites get. They take out robots and other non real unique
peopel, for example:

http://siteanalytics.compete.com/www.lifehacker.com/

Its a site that gets lots of real visits by writing quality.

Here is the SEO tool:

http://www.compete.com/

You can use it for example if you see someone who does SEO, and they
tell you they can you with SEO, first take a look at what their
site gets for traffic.

Now if I site does not really get any traffic than you get this. A
blank graph.

http://siteanalytics.compete.com/sic...com/?metric=uv

I think its much better than Alexa. I have nothing to do with this
tool I just use it to look at my competion or people who claim they
can with SEO.

Here is someone that gets alot of traffic. http://siteanalytics.compete.com/www.seo-guy.com/
and the above gets nothing really.

And what does that tell us?

Exactly, N O T H I N G !!!!

A second party tool that has NO insight on someones statistics cant
even come close to tell you what the trafic for that site will be.

It delivers the same as Alexa: rubish.

Further more, what does an amount of trafic tell you about the sites
credibility and more important, what does it tell you about turn over?

Again, if you don't have access to, or the insight of someones site
statistics and sales it tells you: N O T H I N G !!!!

It does tell some general things about the competion. Such as their
top keywords and visits. It does tell velocity
http://siteanalytics.compete.com/www.cnn.com/ attention stacked
daily http://siteanalytics.compete.com/www.cnn.com/ and a few other
things. Its not perfect but its a fun little tool.

ok but why are you using caps and shouting? I guess I thought this
group would be more cerebral, and ful. It seems like people like
to make a negative comments then put a few links to their sites at the
bottom.

2: You fail to follow netequette
3: Before you reply to this group again, read this :

plenty of links there to keep you busy for a while.

Not to spammers.

They are called signatures. Google it.
They are fine ... IF as a signature.

I have to say Big Bill, SEO Dave Jez and Stacy are the ones that add
a little fun and quality to the group. A nice mix, also Roy in a
different way. But no I do not post a lot here, because I know many
people like to throw stuff arround so much.

I guess its the way they were raised, or lack of kindness in their
hearts.

Goblin:
1: You came in here and SPAMMED the group

How did I spam the group? I asked a real question in detail and
someone made a racist remark.
I wanted to change the subject and add something to the group to get
it off someone's racist comment. So I mentioned this tool, which I
have nothing to do with, and is relavant to SEO and some might find
fun. But did not add my links like you do at the bottom of every post
except the last.
2: You fail to follow netequette
How so, someone make a racist remark to me when I had a real
question? I change the subject to something positve and you shout at
me in CAPs!!!!!!! like that, and you have a very non relavant sexual
comment at the bottom,
"Wank a man off, and he will enjoy himself and If for a day. Teach a
man how to wank, and he'll be a wanker for the rest of his life. "
How old are you? take that sexual comment off your posts, its not
funny.
3. Who made you an expert (your site gets so little traffic) and
judge? Why do you judge peope? Just relax and focus on adding
quality content to this group instead of attacking. Paper tigers.

http://www.quantcast.com/www.cnn.com here is another one, as you can
see it gives a lot of detail and its free. I look at my own sites
and compare it to my logs and they are pretty good but low, on their
estimates as I think they factor out a lot of robots and other bots.

You are stupid lying spammer with verbal diarrhoea.

You bring shame on Russia, and shame to this group.

Why don't you GO AWAY?

Sweet.
A crawler too.
Some people like that - but most don't like it from spammers.

It does tell shit, and you seem to be to ignorant to see it.

Yeah fun .... Tsss fumbling around with some shit tool would be fun ....

Perhapse that way it gets your attention. But unfortunatly it doesn't,
so that makes you a little ignorant spammer and you are tending to ...
Trolling.

Nice you can spell cerebral, but that doesn't tell you are intelligent
does it. So now please go play somewhere else.

Please do not swear here and stick to the topic of SEO. OK? You can
make your self right now, after attacking someone that does not
deserve it, but you really are not focused on SEO. Sorry for
everyone else who has to read this. I am sorry if I offended anyone
and if I hurt anyones feelings.

It is interesting. I'd also recommend Hittail and Crazyegg for anyone
who wants genuinely useful freebie info.

Racist? Where? If so, I didn't see it.

Adding links is only reasonable - it provides correspondents with
routes to more information. Since Google adds rel=nofollow keywords
to each such link, there's zero SEO benefit.

I don't take orders from spammers.
Never have, never will.

So sod off and quit trying to harass me.

Except folk may visit the site if they like what the author's written.
Guess that doesn't happen to you, huh Phil? I've bought from Tom
Scholtz's site because I've been and peeked there after he's posted
here. Some SEO benefits are not immediately apparent, but that doesn't
mean they aren't there.

True, but there's no "automatic advantage" in the sense that you
improve your SERPs position by copious posting.

(Sounds obscene, really. Have you copiously posted recently?)

You sound very touchy, but I am not sure what makes you conclude that
the OP is a spammer.
