Ive been given access to someone elses adwords account and in their
advert box as the anchor/title it simply says "{keyword:network latency}" anyone know what this means? i suspect it means the title will be dynamic across the keyword terms am i correct? and how i can use it across other campaigns? mark buy silver jewellery at www.iosilver.co.uk |

Yes. We use it where town names are in the keywords. We have adwords listings for about 1200 towns ("jobs in wokingham" for example). By using {keyword} the keyword appears in the title of the ad - it saves creating 1200 different ads. I don't know the purpose of putting words after the : As far as I can tell they never show. -- Brian Wakem Email: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/b.wakem/myemail.png |

It's the alternative title when the keyword would generate a title that's too long. So "network latency" is displayed when the keyword is longer than the maximum title length in adwords. |
