Hi
Are the words at the bottom of this page ok? http://www.ricardo.ch/default/defaul...&ArticleType=0 I would be tempted to say no and they've done it on all the pages. What I don't understand is why these pages don't get penalised by Google??? |

This falls under hidden text category. Although not completely hidden, it is also very spammy >What I don't understand is why these pages don't get penalised by >Google??? Have you reported it ? I always find that filing a spam report is a bit cowardly. Thing is I thought that with the experience Google has gathered along the years they'd have created an algorithm to detect such behaviour and punish it automatically. |

If everybody thinks the same, the spam stays. Note that you're just reporting something you consider spam. I mean, asking here if it's legit makes clear that from your point of view it isn't. Reporting spam is identical to asking here if something is spam. It's *Google* who decides if it's spam or not. You just ask them to look at it. > Thing is I thought that with the experience Google has gathered along > the years they'd have created an algorithm to detect such behaviour and > punish it automatically. The number of ways to generate hidden text are numerous. Too much to have a computer program decide fast. Even a bunch of keywords can be legit, I mean: perl, script, seo, programming, software, active state keyword stuffing, or a list of tags? -- John Need with SEO?
