AISE,
I will be revamping a site for a business that has 3 different locations and 3 separate domain names that reflect the location... ie, Chicago Widgets, Peoria Widgets and Northbrook Widgets.... each of these is really "Chicago Widgets.com" EXAMPLE

PEORIA-WIDGETS.COM

<frameset rows="100%", *" border="0" frameborder="0"><frame src="http://www.chicago-widgets.com" name="PEORIA-WIDGETS.COM"></frameset>
Is this a problem with Google, etc.? Advice... comments welcome and appreciated. Thank you |

Being local will make people think you're local. Have a site for each area but say why you service each area. Anyhoo, if you must have three domains that all point to the same site then just do a 301 redirect, don't mess about with frame-forwarding. Either make three web sites with entirely different content, or make one web site with one domain name. Maybe something like this: Chicago Widgets has three locations Chicago Widgets Peoria Widgets Northbrook Widgets Hard to say exactly without knowing more about the site. I would lean towards going with one web site with one domain name though. |
