Same site different domains

AISE,

I will be revamping a site for a business that has 3 different
locations and 3 separate domain names that reflect the location... ie,
Chicago Widgets, Peoria Widgets and Northbrook Widgets.... each of
these is really "Chicago Widgets.com"

EXAMPLE

<html><head><title>PEORIA-WIDGETS.COM</title>

</head><frameset rows="100%", *" border="0" frameborder="0"><frame
src="http://www.chicago-widgets.com"
name="PEORIA-WIDGETS.COM"></frameset></html>

Is this a problem with Google, etc.? Advice... comments welcome and
appreciated.

Why do it at all if there's no local information? Just having the area
name in the domain isn't going to make people think you're local.
Being local will make people think you're local. Have a site for each
area but say why you service each area. Anyhoo, if you must have three
domains that all point to the same site then just do a 301 redirect,
don't mess about with frame-forwarding.

It's a bad idea for SEO. Definitely don't frame pages. Either make three
web sites with entirely different content, or make one web site with one
domain name.

Maybe something like this:

Chicago Widgets has three locations

<a href="/locations/chicago">Chicago Widgets</a>
<a href="/locations/peoria">Peoria Widgets</a>
<a href="/locations/northbrook">Northbrook Widgets</a>

Hard to say exactly without knowing more about the site. I would lean
towards going with one web site with one domain name though.
