Was looking at my Google Sitemaps index stats and while checking
"Indexed pages in your site" noticed that there are 2 pages from websites that are not mine but are incorrectly indexed as being from my website. How is this possible and how can I remove them? Would really appreciate some . Thanks, Chas http://www.charlesunderwood.biz/servlet/StoreFront |

I also found this problem on my site. This is just a new thing for me.
I normally check Google to see if my new pages are indexed yet, and to see if my old ones have been re-spidered. Now when I check, the "pages" in my site have 18 coming up that aren't even related to my site at all. And the address is clearly not mine. If anyone has any information about this, or what I can do to prevent these other entries from showing I would appreciate it. The only thing new that I've done lately is submit a Google sitemap. I would have thought with that, Google would know which pages are mine, and to show in the index of my site. Thanks |

Mind you, a lot of the pages that come up are in languages that use different different characters than english, like Chinese and Russian... so I can't tell what they say (even if I could read those languages)... and the only thing I can figure with those sites, is that it's because my site is about different languages and things. But my site is all written with "romanised" characters, if I can call it that - like the ones I am typing with now... so I don't see why all these other sites that are using the languages natural characters would be showing up. Plus, it's clearly not from my domain. Any ideas? |

Any ideas? Languages and language-associated sites seem to be lumped in together then, in Google's thinking. Their algo is not exactly perfect. :-( BB. -- http://www.crystal-liaison.com/angel...-guardian.html http://www.crystal-liaison.com/anri/black-king.html http://www.crystal-liaison.com/art-i...ax-appeal.html |
