I feel I am good at SEO but not perfect by a long way, (my own site
needs a lot of work and considering even getting it SEOed) I know the basics such as these: http://www.vaughns-1-pagers.com/inte...ng-factors.htm I have the the basic tools for analysis etc. I am pretty good at programming. I even have some sites that are number 1 or first page google. However, I need to know more... Besides this forum what other ways are there to learn the real secrets that the top SEO people do. Such as... www.bruceclay.com www.highrankings.com www.submitexpress.com These site have been at the of google top for ages and charge big money for seo. However, a lot of SEO is straight foward. Are they recommending things that I do not know, or simply have a plan for creating links and pages in a semi-automated fashion to achieve top results for their cleints? I still have not determined the real story of how these SEOs achieve top results for their cleints. ie top 10 in google for keywords that are very sought after. Thank you, Mark |

Charging a lot for seo isn't the same as delivering high ranking in competitive serps. What clients have they recently got they've that they've got top ranks for in hard serps? I get more visitors, more people link to me, and I get more visitors. My site has its own momentum now, and even if I pick my nose for months I am afraid I get more visitors :-) I don't use "tools", I just type an article, and often I score very well without too much work. -- John Experienced Perl programmer: http://castleamber.com/ http://johnbokma.com/perl/perl-quick...ence-card.html (draft) |

After you write an article, do you submitt it to places like these? http://www.weblinkseo.com/seo-guides...g-articles.jsp Or do you just post it on your site or a place where an rss feed will pick it up? Further does anyone here use an rss to html software converter to build pages? >John Bokma wrote: >I just type an article, and often I score very well without too much work. |

I use amongst others Usenet and my own RSS feed. > Or do you just post it on your site or a place where an rss feed will > pick it up? Yup, not "or" but also. > Further does anyone here use an rss to html software converter to > build pages? I would strongly advice against this. It's 2nd hand, 3rd hand or even worse content. Sure, it's a piece of cake to add. But remember, if it comes easy, everybody can do it. -- John Need with SEO?
