All I am saying is enjoy it while it lasts. As you weren't in the top 20's if I recall for SEO consultant even then. You only started improving better since you removed all that stuff that wasn't related and those links. Nothing is permanent. We hope it will be but you can never rely on such things. So enjoy it.:-) Also we got into this as what you keep posting here with these results. I think you have done it 5 times already. Der Weise translated into English as is, would mean 'wise man'. Oder willst du mir sagen dass das doch der Fall ist? Du brauchst mir nicht zu glauben, aber dein Deutsch ist genau so verbesserungsbedürftig wie dein Englisch. Die Übersetzungen die Du machst sind eher Babbelfish würdig, aber absolut kein richtiges Deutsch. If you meant 'weise' as a translation of 'way to much' it should have been: Viel zu viel Luft und Raum im Kopf. Or short: Hohlkopf Soweit die Lektion Deutsch. - tonnie on Google groups |

So, I was right in the first time I wrote it.:-) BTW weise does mean wise. I did find it and when used it means wise as in age. According to my book. But it has to be no capital. Weise with the capital is a noun meaning manner, in a way. If it is changed to "weisen" it would change into a verb and mean "show". So everything that I have looked in is stating Weise is way for the in a way manner. There are many words that are spelled the same and some that are confusing. :-) Took me years to hear the sound to know the different between Church and cherry.:-) A couple of weeks ago I was telling my friend about the hedgehog my dog brought into the house. Well she nor the rest at the table didn't know the word hedgehog and I didn't know the German word for it. Finally after trying to explain the prickly rolled up ball thing she said oh that is like your "eagle", but it is pronounced egal. So, it will be something I will remember.:-) Stacey |

The Eifel area where they pronounced Bitburg - Bitbursh. And if you go to Bitburg they pronounce Wittlich with the ch a hard like a k but your tongue in the back of the throat. Here(just about 25K from Bitburg) Wittlich the ch is like ish. So you learn to pronounce it one way and then go somewhere else and they look at you funny. It is like Spain, you can't speak Mexican Spanish there. They don't understand it all the way. Nor was I expecting a tortilla to be a flat egg rolled up with stuff in it. Yuck! When I was here in Germany before I live in the Hunsrück area for 7 years, and they spoke differently there also. To many hard dialects here in these parts of Germany. >>>> my German friend's >>> >>> Plural in English doesn't get an apostroph :P (SCNR ;-)) >> >> Actually wasn't plural. Yeah, I know. That was one of those mistakes where you think it but don't write it. Everyone had to have done that before.:-) >> "apostrophe" > > Yup, you're right about that one. > >> (I couldn't resist either.:-)) > > :-) It is all done in fun and I don't take anything hard from people:-) That is the way I am. I grew up with a mean brother taking the Mickey until he left home. Stacey |
