adblock, privoxy or proxomitron to filter out tricks like that.

Most of css formatting will be not filtered, as it is just formatting.
However, in some browsers you may switch css off, then you will see links
displayed as they are formatted by default. Pages prepared properly will
look still readable, others will not.
